Forest of Dean Two male PIED FLYCATCHERS at Nagshead this morning (Lower Hide & Short Trail). Belated news of the first of the year at Lower Hide yesterday. Also 3+ Hawfinches at Lower Hide and six Crossbills on Long Trail today. (RSPB Gloucestershire). Also three Hawfinches and a male Blackcap on the Short Trail. (Geoff Fawcett).
Awre Two SANDWICH TERNS flew up as far as Awre on the tide today, c2pm. They fed and then seemed to fly back down again. Presumably the same as the two that flew through the Rushy at 12:35pm. Also a Seal species. (John & Viv Phillips).
