Selsley     A female RING OUZEL on Selsley Common at 7:15 this evening in the quarry just up from the church. (Rich Hearn).

Sherborne     An OSPREY still present at the Broadwater (Sherborne Brook) at 8:40am and throughout the day until 4:15pm at least. (Keith Jennings). Pics by Chris Snook.

Lydney     The GLOSSY IBIS still in the field next to the water treatment works at 2:30pm. (Roy Kinchin).

Forest of Dean     Two male PIED FLYCATCHERS at Nagshead this morning (Lower Hide & Short Trail). Belated news of the first of the year at Lower Hide yesterday. Also 3+ Hawfinches at Lower Hide and six Crossbills on Long Trail today. (RSPB Gloucestershire). Also three Hawfinches and a male Blackcap on the Short Trail. (Geoff Fawcett).

Awre     Two SANDWICH TERNS flew up as far as Awre on the tide today, c2pm. They fed and then seemed to fly back down again. Presumably the same as the two that flew through the Rushy at 12:35pm. Also a Seal species. (John & Viv Phillips).

Damery     The CATTLE EGRET on a flooded field at Middle Mill on the Little Avon at 3:30pm. (Derek Edmondson).

Frampton     A Whitethroat at Splatt Bridge this afternoon. (Gordon Hodgson).

WWT Slimbridge     A female Goosander from Zeiss hide today. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Westonbirt     At least seven Hawfinches at the Arboretum today. (Daniel Moden).

Wotton-Under-Edge     A garden Hawfinch again today. (Morag Hughes).

Tirley     A Barn Owl at 6:50am. (Mark Grieve).

Hardwicke     A Red Kite flew over at 9:10am headed NE. (Chris Edwards).

Cotswold Water Park East     Four Lesser Redpolls at Pit 125 today, but no sign of the Scoters. Ten Swallows and a House Martin over Pit 104. (Duncan Dine).
