Gloucester At Alney Island this afternoon, a Cuckoo, Reed Warbler and Sedge Warbler heard, three Lesser Whitethroats, two Whitethroats, plenty of Blackcaps and Chiffchaffs, and a Raven. (Steve Pullen).

Upleadon At Brand Green Woods mid afternoon birds included six Willow Warblers, three Chiffchaffs, four Blackcaps, three Great Spotted Woodpeckers, two Green Woodpeckers, four Buzzards, a Mistle Thrush, a Treecreeper, a Jay and a Raven. (John Fletcher).
Halmore In woods between Halmore and Purton this morning birds included a nest-building male Goldcrest, at least four Chiffchaffs, a Willow Warbler, a Whitethroat, two Blackcaps, a Mistle Thrush, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a male Kestrel, three Buzzards, a Peregrine and a Cuckoo over.
