Highnam Woods     Five Nightingales singing this morning. (Dave & Vanda Owen).

Tidenham Chase     At Poor’s Allotment a Yellowhammer singing, Linnets, pair of Stonechats, Swallows, a Buzzard being harassed by a Raven and a Tree Pipit. (Alan Waterman).

Stonehouse     A Red Kite over the railway station at 6:25pm. (Colin Greenfield).

Symonds Yat     In the Yat Rock area today the Peregrine pair and two intruding Peregrines, a male and female Sparrowhawk, two Hobbies, Ravens, Buzzards, a female Goosander, House Martins and Sand Martins, Swallows, a Jay, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Green Woodpecker, Chiffchaffs, Blackcaps, Siskins, a Grey Heron and Stock Doves. Also Rose Chafer beetles, Hornets, a Wood Mouse and Holly Blue, Peacock, Green-veined White and Speckled Wood butterflies. (Chris & Phil Andrews). Pic by Phil.
