Coombe Hill Meadows Seven Mute Swans, a pair of Canada Geese with two goslings, a male Wigeon on the Long Pool, a female Mallard with five ducklings, three Little Egrets, a Grey Heron, a pair of Oystercatchers with at least two almost fledged chicks, at least 77 Lapwings, an immature Little Ringed Plover, three Redshanks, a Curlew, a Cuckoo still singing, five Swifts, singing birds included a Reed Warbler, Skylark, Sedge Warbler, Whitethroat, Blackcap, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff, c6 Reed Buntings and a Yellowhammer. At Lower Apperley a late burst of song from a Lesser Whitethroat. (Mike Smart).

Symonds Yat In the Yat Rock area today the Peregrine pair, two Red Kites, Buzzards, Ravens, Swallows, House Martins, Swifts, a Chiffchaff, two Song Thrushes, Stock Doves and a Blackcap. Also Speckled Wood, Meadow Brown, Ringlet, Large White and Marbled White butterflies, a Rose Chafer, a Garden Chafer, a Cockchafer, a Common Green Grasshopper, a female White-legged Damselfly, a Pipistrelle Bat, a Slow Worm, Wood Mice and a Bank Vole.
