Haresfield Beacon     A TURTLE DOVE around SO 82638 08821 seen and heard this evening. (James Barradine).

Hardwicke to Moreton Valence     From Sellars Bridge to Castle Bridge along the canal a Lesser Whitethroat, a Chiffchaff, a fresh Willow Warbler, two Kingfishers, two Buzzards, a pair of Mute Swans with six large cygnets, a pair of Moorhens with five small chicks and a huge flock of c300 corvids at Oakey Farm, roughly 130 Jackdaws, 70 Carrion Crows and 100 Rooks. WWT Slimbridge     The Lesser Emperor dragonfly still from Martin Smith hide at 1pm today. (Paul Marshall).

Coombe Hill Meadows    Four Teal, eight Little Egrets, at least nine Grey Herons, 180 Lapwings, three Black-tailed Godwits, at least eight Green Sandpipers, four Redshanks and an adult male Whinchat sitting on the island in the south scrape. (Mike Smart).

Forthampton     An Oystercatcher on the beach and 2-3 Sand Martins around the colony in the bank. (Mike Smart).
