Cotswold Water Park East     At Pit 126 a winter-plumaged/juv Black-tailed Godwit with a yellow ring on its right leg, a Dunlin and a Little Ringed Plover. (John Durell).

Ashleworth Ham     A Constant Effort ringing session caught 47 birds including 16 Whitethroats, six Blackcaps, five Lesser Whitethroats, a Chiffchaff, a Willow Warbler, two juvenile Redstarts and a Reed Bunting. On the reserve a Peregrine flew over and a recently fledged Cuckoo being fed by a Sedge Warbler. (Mervyn Greening/Barrie Mills/Mike Smart). Symonds Yat     In the Yat Rock area today the resident Peregrines, Buzzards, Ravens, House Martins, Swallows, two Barn Owls, Stock Doves, a Marsh Tit and a Spotted Flycatcher. Also Painted Lady, Gatekeeper, Large White, Holly Blue and Meadow Brown butterflies, a Rose Chafer and Hummingbird Hawk moths and two Bank Voles.
