Cotswold Water Park West     A GREAT WHITE EGRET at Shorncote Reedbeds at 9am. (Duncan Dine).

Walmore Common     A Hobby, six Whinchats and two Yellow Wagtails this morning. (Andy Jayne).

Forest of Dean     A flock of 17 Hawfinches on the Long Trail at Nagshead this afternoon. (Lewis Thomson).

Netheridge Farm     A Spotted Flycatcher at the Barn Owl Centre today. (Mark Hobson).

Haresfield Beacon     A Wheatear this evening. (Andy Chapman).

Purton     This morning vismig included an immature Marsh Harrier, seven Yellow Wagtails, 46 Swallows, 29 Sand Martins, two House Martins, a Meadow Pipit, a Reed Bunting and a Grey Wagtail. Birds grounded included four Yellow Wagtails, 30+ Blackcaps, five Willow Warblers, seven Lesser Whitethroats, three Garden Warblers, two Whitethroats, two Reed Warblers and two Sedge Warblers. Frampton pools     A Redstart, 42 Chiffchaffs, five Willow Warblers, 20 Blackcaps, two Lesser Whitethroats, two Whitethroats, ten Yellowhammer, 35 Robins, a Yellow-legged Gull, four Green Sandpipers, a Common Sandpiper, a Lapwing and a Kingfisher today. (Nick Goatman).

Hock Ditch to the masts at Arlingham     A Wheatear, a Yellow Wagtail, three Chiffchaffs, two juvenile Reed Warblers, a Lesser Whitethroat, a Nuthatch and a Treecreeper in Long Wood, a Peregrine and two Spotted Flycatchers in the tall dead trees next to the cream coloured house by Fretherne church. Three Little Egrets and two Grey Herons across the river at Awre. Also 8+ Migrant Hawkers and 2+ Common Darters, a Hornet and butterflies included Green-veined White, Small Coppers and a Comma. (MK). Rodborough Common     Two Redstarts and a Stonechat with a flock of 10+ Greenfinches this afternoon. (Colin Greenfield).

Gloucester     Six Buzzards circling high and moving slowly in a NW direction over Coney Hill-Barnwood Park-Walls Roundabout. (Derek Lightstone).

Hilcot     c50 Linnets today by the road to Hilcot from Severn Springs at SO974166. (Laurie Pierce).

Dursley     150+ Swallows at Stancombe today. (Fiona Leathart).

Hawling     In the Hawling area today six Buzzards, a Red Kite, three Kestrels, two Ravens, Swallows and small Linnet and Goldfinch flocks. Also Speckled Wood, Red Admiral, Green-veined White, Large White and Small White butterflies and four Hornets. (Chris & Phil Andrews).
