Frampton     A CATTLE EGRET left the Court Lake roost at dawn today. (Nick Goatman).

WWT Slimbridge    The BITTERN again today from Zeiss hide and a JACK SNIPE still from Martin Smith hide this morning. (Slimbridge Sightings). 

Bourton-on-the-Water     A White-fronted Goose amongst the Canada Geese at Greystones Farm GWT reserve until 2:15pm at least, a great record for the Cotswolds (found yesterday by Richard Sims). (Richard Tyler/Duncan Dine). Pics by Richard, Duncan and Andy in that order.

Minsterworth Ham     Still six adult Whooper Swans with nine Mute Swans on an oilseed rape field this morning. (Mike Smart).

Bentham    Two Ring-necked Parakeets flew over Bentham towards Witcombe this morning. (John Casswell).

My name is Mike King and have lived all my life in Gloucestershire. I am happiest birding around Frampton but I especially love Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
