WWT Slimbridge     The GREAT SKUA over the grounds and estuary and across to Awre throughout the day and also viewable from Hock Ditch and present until mid-afternoon at least. (Slimbridge Sightings/Paul Rich/Neil Smart/MK).

Forest of Dean    Ten Goosanders and c10 Crossbills at Woorgreens Lake this afternoon. (Ben Locke).

Bourton-on-the-Water     The White-fronted Goose still present at GWT Greystones Farm, then on the north pit at midday. Two Kingfishers, a wintering Chiffchaff, a Peregrine and a Sparrowhawk on the GNS walk around the pits this morning. (Andy Lewis).

Aylburton Warth/Guscar Rocks     Today’s WeBS count birds included three Canada Geese, 11 Shelducks, 600 Wigeon, 53 Teal, three Mallards, a Grey Heron, 18 Lapwings, 324 Curlews, six Snipe, 67 Redshanks, a Peregrine, a Rock Pipit, at least one pair of Stonechats, a Raven and a Reed Bunting. Coombe Hill Meadows   From the Grundon Hide early afternoon 100+ Greylags, 20+ Canada Geese, 30+ Fieldfares and Redwings, 20+ Pied Wagtails, six Lapwings, a Teal and a Kestrel. (Howard Taylor).

Netheridge Farm    A JACK SNIPE at the Barn Owl Centre today, also 3+ Water Rails. (Mark Hobson).

Gloucester     At Horsebere Brook Flood Storage Lake this morning birds included three Little Egrets, 18 Mallards, three Coots, two Moorhens, a Grey Wagtail, two Pied Wagtails, three Stonechats (2m, 1f) and two Reed Buntings. (Gordon Avery).

Witcombe Reservoirs     Birds today included a Grey Heron, a Little Egret, four Mute Swans, three Teal, 26 Mallards, two Tufted Ducks, five Little Grebes, a Great Crested Grebe, nine Cormorants, 32 Coots, 13 Moorhens and a Buzzard. (Gordon Avery).
