Framilode     A CATTLE EGRET with seven Little Egrets at 1:50pm. (Michelle Davies/Martin Greenish).

Whittington     This morning a male HEN HARRIER flew from near Whittington towards Cleeve Hill. (Dave Pearce).

Highnam     On the elevated pond by the railway at Linton Farm SO802188 three adult Whooper Swans, 25 Mute Swans and 90 Mallards. Also at least 16 Yellowhammers nearby. (Andy Jayne).

Compton Abdale     A Woodcock seen in the car headlights at 4:30pm at the side of the road next to small stream. (Duncan Dine).

Cambridge    A Water Rail on the banks of the River Cam at Rosie’s wood this afternoon. (Katharine Goatman).

Cotswold Water Park West     At Shorncote Reedbeds a Great White Egret, a Little Egret, 40 Wigeon, 15 Teal, six Gadwalls, two Water Rails heard, four Green Sandpipers, a Curlew over, 137 Lapwings, a Buzzard, a Green Woodpecker, a Kingfisher, two Grey Wagtails, nine Meadow Pipits, a female Stonechat, four Fieldfares, three Redwings, eight Reed Buntings, four Bullfinches, 25 Goldfinches, nine Siskins over, six singing Cetti’s Warblers and a Chiffchaff and nine Roe Deer. Symonds Yat     From Yat Rock viewpoint today the resident Peregrine pair, three Red Kites, two Buzzards, Ravens, two Green Woodpeckers, three Treecreepers, a Stock Dove, a Jay, Fieldfares, two Mistle Thrushes, a Marsh Tit, Long-tailed Tits and a female Goosander. Also six Fallow Deer. (Chris & Phil Andrews).

Forest of Dean     At Yew Tree Brake two Goldcrests, male and female Bullfinch, a pair of Stonechats, two Jays and a male Great Spotted Woodpecker. At Crabtree Hill six Meadow Pipits and at Cannop ponds two Siskins. (Chris Snook).

Cheltenham    At Pittville Park this morning 12 Black-headed Gulls, a Goldcrest, a Jay and a Song Thrush. (Howard Taylor).

Coombe Hill Meadows    Ten Mute Swans, 176 Greylags, 260 Canada Geese, 670 Wigeon, 50 Teal, a Gadwall, six Pintails, three Grey Herons, 110 Lapwings, 15 Pied Wagtails, 150+ Fieldfares and 50+ Redwings and c1000 Starlings today. (Mike Smart).
