Coombe Hill Meadows 1435 Wigeon, 520 Greylags, ten Mute Swans, two Barnacle Geese, three Shelducks, four Gadwalls, less than 100 Teal, 14 Pintails, three Shovelers, two Water Rails calling, 120 Lapwings, at least five Snipe, a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming, ten Pied Wagtails and eight Meadow Pipits feeding on the edges of the floodwater, at least 50 each Fieldfares and Redwings, two Reed Buntings and a Yellowhammer.
