Berkeley shore     A Woodcock this morning. (Paul Taylor).

WWT Slimbridge     A JACK SNIPE and a Snipe at Martin Smith hide again today. (Jon Mercer).

Stonehouse     A Dipper near the weir at Guns Mill, Bridgend at SO795048. A Green Sandpiper again between the railway lines and Bonds mill this morning in the channel being restored at SO794050. Also in the area two Cormorants and two Buzzards. (Paul Sutton).

Cotswolds     A Barn Owl alongside the A436 at 7:15am and a Tawny Owl hooting
near Sevenhampton. (Steve Brown).

Cheltenham     20+ Redwings feeding in yew trees in Pittville Circus Road this week. (Clare McNulty).

Gloucester     A young male Blackcap trapped in the garden at Hempsted this morning. (Gordon Avery). A male Pheasant in the garden at Longford today. (Andy Jayne).

Coombe Hill Meadows   1435 Wigeon, 520 Greylags, ten Mute Swans, two Barnacle Geese, three Shelducks, four Gadwalls, less than 100 Teal, 14 Pintails, three Shovelers, two Water Rails calling, 120 Lapwings, at least five Snipe, a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming, ten Pied Wagtails and eight Meadow Pipits feeding on the edges of the floodwater, at least 50 each Fieldfares and Redwings, two Reed Buntings and a Yellowhammer.
