WWT Slimbridge     An adult Dark-bellied Brent Goose amongst the 242 strong Barnacle Goose flock from Kingfisher hide today. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Saul    Three CATTLE EGRETS and 11 Little Egrets this afternoon in paddocks between Saul and Fretherne. (Roy Widgery).

Frampton     Two Great White Egrets fishing on Court Lake early morning. (Roy Widgery).

Lydney     32 Goosanders on Lydney Lake today. (Andy Meaton).

Ashleworth and Hasfield Hams     125+ Canada Geese, 123 Mallards, 23 Gadwalls, c.200 Teal, 95 Pintails, 22 Shovelers, a Little Grebe, a Coot, a Golden Plover, up to 1000 Lapwings, 26 Snipe and a Chiffchaff today. (Andy Jayne).

Eastington     A Kingfisher at the car park by the canal at Pike Lock. (Steve Brown).

Stinchcombe Wood     Two Ravens, two Nuthatches, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers

Stroud     At least 22 Buzzards kettling and slowly moving S over the town mid-morning. (Terry Grant).

About The Gloster Birder

My name is Mike King and have lived all my life in Gloucestershire. I am happiest birding around Frampton but I especially love Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
