Highnam     Still six Whooper Swans with 16 Mute Swans, two Canada Geese and 55+ Mallards at Linton Farm pond today. Park in the gateway on the left (coming from Gloucester) by the traffic lights after Over Farm Shop lights at SO 80894 19388. Brimscombe     A Kingfisher at Hope Mill Bridge on Hope Mill Lane and a singing male Goldcrest late morning. (MK).

Stroud     A Dipper on the Frome at Wallbridge under the viaduct where the river meets the canal at midday. (MK).

Forest of Dean  14 Crossbills drinking from a flooded ditch at Horse Lawn today. (Ben Locke). Nine Hawfinches and a Treecreeper at Parkend today and 13 Goosanders (2m, 11 redheads) at Woorgreens. (Rob & Gillian Guest). 17 Hawfinches all in view at once in the tops of the tall trees at Parkend. Also six Greenfinches. (Keith Vinicombe).

Frampton     A MERLIN at Splatt Bridge this afternoon, also a Blackcap and a female Stonechat. A Great White Egret on Court Lake again. (Andy Chapman).
