Walton Cardiff     A WHEATEAR flew over the road and over a hedge early morning. (Andy Lodge).

Berkeley shore     A male WHEATEAR on the shore today. (Paul Taylor).

Saul Warth     A male WHEATEAR on the rocks to the right of Hock Ditch at midday calling constantly. Also the WATER PIPIT again today, seen yesterday too, a male Stonechat, a pair of Oystercatchers, 30+ Meadow Pipits, a male Kestrel and a Raven. (MK). Pics by Mike.

Aston Down   An OSPREY at altitude over Aston Down this morning at 8:20 heading NE viewed from the layby of the Glide-in Café. (Michael Cook).

WWT Slimbridge     A Red Kite over the car park this morning and a pair of second-summer MEDITERRANEAN GULLS on South Lake. (Andy Jordan).

Gloucester     A Tawny Owl flying and calling over and around Linden at 10pm. (James Barradine).

Symonds Yat     In the Yat Rock area today the Peregrine pair mating, eight Buzzards, a Red Kite, two Goshawks, Ravens, Jays, a Green Woodpecker, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, Stock Doves, a Treecreeper, two Long-tailed Tits, three Mandarins (2m, 1f) and a male Goosander. Also ten Fallow Deer. (Chris & Phil Andrews).

Leckhampton Hill    At least 400 Golden Plovers over very high in long lines and v shapes calling a lot and two very confiding birds grounded near the masts on Cleeve Hill. (Tom Mabbett).

Nailsworth     At Tiltup’s End two Red Kites, one partial leucistic bird with a white head and forewings, two Red-legged Partridges, 203 mixed corvids including 103 Carrion Crows, 300+ Stock Doves, two Linnets, eight Skylarks, 12 Yellowhammers and two Buzzards. (Jake King).

Tewkesbury     On Severn Ham today 25 Mute Swans, 50 Carrion Crows and a Reed Bunting. Nearby a pair of Peregrines on the tower of Tewkesbury Abbey. (Mike Smart).

Cheltenham     At Naunton Park at 10pm, a Tawny Owl calling, second garden record in 34 years. (Steve Brown).

Cherington     At Cherington Lake and surrounding area birds included 35+ Linnets, two Nuthatches, two Green Woodpeckers calling, a Treecreeper, 40 Jackdaws, four Buzzards, 11 Mallards and 12+ Wrens. (John Fletcher).
