WWT Slimbridge    40+ Sand Martins and a Swallow on South Lake. A Green Sandpiper and a Little Ringed Plover on the Rushy. (James Robinson). 13 Knots from Zeiss hide with 725+ Black-tailed Godwits, three Ruff and an Avocet. On South Lake 40 Avocets. From Kingfisher hide 50+ Golden Plovers, a Little Egret and a Cetti’s Warbler heard. 52 Black-tailed Godwits from Hogarth hide. 30 Avocets, a Ruff, 14 Wigeon and a House Martin from Holden Tower. Sharpness    An Avocet just S of Purton viewed from SARA. 70 Sand Martins along the canal between Sharpness and Purton and five Willow Warblers. A Swallow flew N, a pair of Nuthatches near SARA and three MEDITERRANEAN GULLS off of SARA. (Andy Jordan).
