Cheltenham     The adult NIGHT HERON flew in to the island of the boating lake at Pittville Park at SO 94920 23492 at 5:05am, then showed well fishing along the island edge until 6am at least. It was then seen on and off, sometimes well, until 12:30pm. It reappeared at 8:20pm. (Paul Masters et al). Also the Common Sandpiper still, 10+ Swifts, a Grey Heron, a Green Woodpecker, a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming, a Blackcap and a Chiffchaff singing. (MK). Pics by Mike.

Ebley     The Ring-necked Parakeet again at Foxmoor Lane stables at SO 82398 05555 at 7:15pm. (Carol Mein).

Bredons Hardwick, Worcs    This evening a GLOSSY IBIS, found by Dave Evans early in the day in S Worcs. It circled over Bredons Hardwick on the Worcs bank, then headed E into Glos, flying high over the Mythe, very probably moving to Ripple Lake where it may have roosted. (Mike Smart).

Tewkesbury    This morning an adult male Peregrine sitting on the tower of the Abbey. (Mike Smart).
