WWT Slimbridge Three Wood Sandpipers on the Rushy early on but mobile around the grounds. From Zeiss hide a SPOONBILL, 172 Lapwings, seven Ruff, two Snipe, two Little Ringed Plovers and 20 Avocets. On South Lake a Common Sandpiper, 36 Redshanks, 374 Black-tailed Godwits, adult and chick Little Ringed Plover, three Ruff, 49 Lapwings and Curlew juvenile No 69. Coombe Hill Meadows Seven Mute Swans, 92 Canada Geese, a male Wigeon, at least 13 Teal, at least four Gadwalls, three Shovelers, c6 Tufted Ducks, two Grey Herons, 20 Lapwings, an immature Dunlin, three Black-tailed Godwits, a Common Sandpiper, four Green Sandpipers, a Snipe, ten Swallows and ten Sand Martins, at least 200 Jackdaws along the canal and a Southern Hawker today.
