Saul Warth This afternoon a Little Egret, four Turnstones, 100+ Curlews, 16 Dunlins, a Common Sandpiper, a Kestrel, two Redstarts, 6+ Yellow Wagtails, three Whitethroats, a Chiffchaff, a Skylark, 50+ Swallows, two House Martins, a Sand Martin and two Painted Ladies. (MK). Pics by Mike.





Berkeley shore This afternoon an adult Yellow-legged Gull, six Common Sandpipers, three Yellow Wagtails and a juvenile Wheatear. Also seven species of butterfly including Clouded Yellow and 50+ Painted Ladies. (Paul Taylor).
Ashleworth Ham This afternoon birds included two Red Kites, four Buzzards, a Sparrowhawk, 13 Mallards, two Canada Geese, two Grey Herons, four Red-legged Partridges, four Stock Doves, three Blackcaps, two Chiffchaffs, a Grey Wagtail, 160+ Jackdaws, 20 Rooks and 14 Carrion Crows.
