Frampton    A Whinchat still in the reedbed N of Splatt Bridge at 1:15pm. Also a Sand Martin, six House Martins, a Swallow, 200+ Black-headed Gulls, a Buzzard and a Curlew. (MK). Around the pools this evening three Swifts, 100+ Sand Martins, two Reed Warblers, two Green Sandpipers, a Pintail, five Shovelers, 14 Teal, 16 Gadwalls, a Great White Egret, 13 Little Egrets and the adult Yellow-legged Gull. (Nick Goatman).

Nailsworth     Nine Swifts flying S, five together at 5:12pm, and a Hobby. (Terry Grant).

Guiting Power     10+ Yellow Wagtails above the village at 2pm. (Duncan Dine).

Forest of Dean    This morning a Goshawk over the garden at Oldcroft. (Mike Ingleby).

My name is Mike King and have lived all my life in Gloucestershire. I am happiest birding around Frampton but I especially love Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
