Cotswold Water Park West     This afternoon at Shorncote Reedbeds two Little Egrets, five Grey Herons, a Water Rail, 44 Lapwings, a Snipe, a Green Sandpiper, three Buzzards, a Kestrel, a Hobby, a Green Woodpecker, five Swallows, a Grey Wagtail, five Meadow Pipits, four Cetti’s Warblers, five Chiffchaffs, three Reed Buntings and 22 Linnets. Coombe Hill Meadows   Two Hobbies successfully hunting dragonflies, a Little Egret, two Grey Herons, a Wheatear, a Chiffchaff, 24 Canada Geese, 136 Greylags, seven Mute Swans, 50 Mallards, three Wigeon, three Gadwall, 29 Teal, five Shovelers, 33 Lapwings and a Red Kite soaring above the canal. Stinchcombe Hill     A juvenile Redstart, a male Stonechat, a Tree Pipit, two Lesser Whitethroats, three Spotted Flycatchers, two Grey Wagtails, 10+ Blackcaps, many Chiffchaffs, 15 Swallows, 20 House Martin, 30+ Meadow Pipits, 30 Pied Wagtails and 60 Goldfinches. (James Robinson).

Frampton pools     Around the pools a Great White Egret,14 Wigeon, a Pintail, 41 Gadwalls, 27 Teal, 12 Shovelers, six Green Sandpipers, two Yellow Wagtails, two Willow Warblers, 44 Chiffchaffs, 20 Blackcaps, two Whitethroats, 102 Robins, 30+ Meadow Pipits, 80+ Goldfinches, 30+ Linnets and six Reed Buntings today. Berkeley shore     Two Spotted Flycatchers, three Hobbies, two Greenshanks, two Common Sandpipers, 50 Redshanks, seven Whinchats, two Stonechats and three Wheatears today. (Paul Taylor).

Symonds Yat     At Yat Rock viewpoint today the resident Peregrine pair and an adult Peregrine on Great Doward Hill nearby, three Buzzards, a Raven, two Stock Doves, a Grey Heron, Swallows, House Martins, Long-tailed Tits and a female Mandarin. Other sightings included Small Tortoiseshell, Large White, Comma, Holly Blue, Red Admiral, Painted Lady and Speckled Wood butterflies, a Bank Vole, a Hummingbird Hawk Moth and a Fallow Deer. Bussage   This evening at Toadsmoor large lake, Toadsmoor Valley,  a Water Rail, four Blackcaps (3m, 1f), a male Bullfinch, a Marsh Tit, 15 Long-tailed Tits, a Treecreeper, two Swallows and c3 Tawny Owls calling. Also several Commas, a White Letter Hairstreak feeding on a thistle and later Daubenton’s Bat, Common Pipistrelle and a Noctule Bat. (Michael Cook).
