WWT Slimbridge     Two CATTLE EGRETS at Zeiss hide briefly at 2pm, then flew E. (Dot Jones).

Cotswold Water Park West     This afternoon at Shorncote Reedbeds two Little Egrets, five Grey Herons, a Water Rail, 44 Lapwings, a Snipe, a Green Sandpiper, three Buzzards, a Kestrel, a Hobby, a Green Woodpecker, five Swallows, a Grey Wagtail, five Meadow Pipits, four Cetti’s Warblers, five Chiffchaffs, three Reed Buntings and 22 Linnets. Tewkesbury     A female Whinchat in fields along Walton Cardiff Lane gave good views before flying off. (Pete Long).

Coombe Hill Meadows   Two Hobbies successfully hunting dragonflies, a Little Egret, two Grey Herons, a Wheatear, a Chiffchaff, 24 Canada Geese, 136 Greylags, seven Mute Swans, 50 Mallards, three Wigeon, three Gadwall, 29 Teal, five Shovelers, 33 Lapwings and a Red Kite soaring above the canal. Also today two Spotted Flycatchers, a Lesser Whitethroat, a Yellow Wagtail, a Willow Warbler, a Green Sandpiper, a Snipe and good movement of Swallows, House Martins and Meadow Pipits. (Ian Ralphs).

Stinchcombe Hill     A juvenile Redstart, a male Stonechat, a Tree Pipit, two Lesser Whitethroats, three Spotted Flycatchers, two Grey Wagtails, 10+ Blackcaps, many Chiffchaffs, 15 Swallows, 20 House Martin, 30+ Meadow Pipits, 30 Pied Wagtails and 60 Goldfinches. (James Robinson).

Frampton pools     Around the pools a Great White Egret,14 Wigeon, a Pintail, 41 Gadwalls, 27 Teal, 12 Shovelers, six Green Sandpipers, two Yellow Wagtails, two Willow Warblers, 44 Chiffchaffs, 20 Blackcaps, two Whitethroats, 102 Robins, 30+ Meadow Pipits, 80+ Goldfinches, 30+ Linnets and six Reed Buntings today. Berkeley shore     Two Spotted Flycatchers, three Hobbies, two Greenshanks, two Common Sandpipers, 50 Redshanks, seven Whinchats, two Stonechats and three Wheatears today. (Paul Taylor).

Symonds Yat     At Yat Rock viewpoint today the resident Peregrine pair and an adult Peregrine on Great Doward Hill nearby, three Buzzards, a Raven, two Stock Doves, a Grey Heron, Swallows, House Martins, Long-tailed Tits and a female Mandarin. Other sightings included Small Tortoiseshell, Large White, Comma, Holly Blue, Red Admiral, Painted Lady and Speckled Wood butterflies, a Bank Vole, a Hummingbird Hawk Moth and a Fallow Deer. Bussage   This evening at Toadsmoor large lake, Toadsmoor Valley,  a Water Rail, four Blackcaps (3m, 1f), a male Bullfinch, a Marsh Tit, 15 Long-tailed Tits, a Treecreeper, two Swallows and c3 Tawny Owls calling. Also several Commas, a White Letter Hairstreak feeding on a thistle and later Daubenton’s Bat, Common Pipistrelle and a Noctule Bat. (Michael Cook).

Cirencester    A Kingfisher seen just outside Cirencester Outdoor Swimming pool this morning. (Felicity Cobb).

Cleeve Hill     c500 House Martins and a few Swallows and four Wheatears on the golf course this morning. (Duncan Dine).

Gloucester    100+ Swallows heading S over Chatsworth Avenue, Tuffley this evening. (Dean Lord).

Hartpury     A Red Kite over the Orchard Centre today. (Steve French).

Ashleworth Ham     Two Canada Geese, a Teal, eight Mallards, a Grey Heron and a Green Sandpiper. (Mike Smart).

Leigh/Cobney Meadows     At Cobney two Grey Herons and two Moorhens. At Leigh Meadows two Mallards, a Cormorant, two Green Sandpipers, five Snipe, three Meadow Pipits, a Skylark and a Chiffchaff singing and 2-3 more calling. (Mike Smart).
