WWT Slimbridge     A BITTERN on the Bottom New Piece this morning. On the Top New Piece at least 158 Knot, four Ruff, 120 Lapwings, seven Black-tailed Godwits, 723 Teal, 30 Wigeon and three Yellow Wagtails. Two CATTLE EGRETS on the Top New Piece and the Spotted Redshank still from Robbie Garnett hide. (Martin McGill/Paul Masters). At Mid Point this morning, a MERLIN flew N after a finch flock, eight Golden Plovers W, 18 Little Egrets, 40+ Knot and a Marsh Harrier flew N towards Frampton. (Neil Smart).

Frampton pools     Two CATTLE EGRETS roosted at Court Lake roost, also four Green Sandpipers, a Lapwing, two Pintails, 32 Teal, 11 Tufted Ducks, a Kingfisher, a Raven and two Reed Warblers this evening. (Nick Goatman).

Sharpness    42 Knot flew N towards Slimbridge at 7:40am. Also a Redstart and a Greenshank at SARA. (Andy Jordan).

Berkeley     A Wheatear, a Whinchat and a Stonechat near the Pill, and a Greenshank and 50 Redshanks today. (Geoff Moyser).

Cleeve Hill    Around the Heather Enclosure this morning c5 Redstarts, two Whinchats, four Wheatears, a few Chiffchaffs and Blackcaps and 10 Stonechats. (Duncan Dine).

Maisemore     From Church Road around the pool and to the weir on the Severn this afternoon a GREY SEAL until it went downstream at 1:45pm, birds included the two released male Wood Ducks, a Little Grebe, 20 Mallards, two Coots, nine Moorhens, two Mute Swans, 20 Blackbirds, 11 Long tailed Tits, six Goldfinches, a Buzzard, a Kestrel and 93 Jackdaws.
