Cirencester     Two Ring-necked Parakeets in the central Tesco car park in Farrell Close today at 4:20pm. They flew in together and sat in a tree in the main car park area. (Niki Oakley).

Highnam Woods     This afternoon two Marsh Tits, three Nuthatches, six Goldcrests, two Coal Tits, two male Bullfinches, three Fieldfares, a Song Thrush, two Pied Wagtails, three Treecreepers, three Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Green Woodpecker heard, three Jays, two Ravens, a Sparrowhawk and a Buzzard. WWT Slimbridge     A SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF and three Chiffchaffs at South Lake today. 16 Bewick’s Swans on the Tack Piece. On the Bottom New Piece 37 White-fronted Geese and two juvenile Greenland White-fronted Geese. From Zeiss hide a BITTERN today and eight Pink-footed Geese on the Dumbles. On the Top New Piece 218 Knot and 550+ Black-tailed Godwits. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Tresham     A Merlin hunting this afternoon. (Paul Rich).

Naunton     At Lower Harford,  30+ Canada Geese, nine Mute Swans (2 ads, 7 juvs), four Little Grebes, 12+ Mallards, 4 Tufted Ducks, 4 Teal, 14+ Moorhens, a Coot and a Kingfisher. (Phil Steele).

Winchcombe     A female Blackcap this morning in the garden feeding on rowan berries. (Peter Rodgers).

Woodford     A Sparrowhawk feeding on a pigeon in the back garden this morning. (Geoff Poulton).

Guscar Rocks/Aylburton Warth     On the WeBS count today birds included 69 Wigeon, 205 Teal, three Grey Herons, 11 Lapwings, 320 Curlews, 20 Dunlins, nine Snipe, 49 Redshanks and a Reed Bunting. (Barrie Mills/Mike Smart).
