WWT Slimbridge     A BITTERN from Zeiss hide again today. Eight Pink-footed Geese on the Dumbles, 21 Bewick’s Swans and 50 White-fronted Geese on the Tack Piece, two juvenile Greenland White-fronted Geese still on the Bottom New Piece. (Dot Jones/Dave Paynter).

Frampton pools     Around the pools a WATER PIPIT, a Goshawk, a Great White Egret, a Goldeneye a Lapwing, two Common Cranes, four Chiffchaffs, 100+ Linnets, 40+ Goldfinches, 50+ Meadow Pipits, four Reed Buntings and a Grey Wagtail today. (Nick Goatman).
