Forest of Dean    At Yew Tree Brake a pair of Stonechats, a Nuthatch and a Great Spotted Woodpecker today. (Les Ditchburn).

Coombe Hill Meadows     On the WeBS count this morning birds included a Water Rail calling near the wharf, 14 Mute Swans, four Grey Herons, 308 Pintails, seven Shelducks, 109 Shovelers, ten Tufted Ducks, 25 Gadwalls, 505 Teal, 14 Mallards, 760 Wigeon, 290 Canada Geese, 135 Greylags and 200 Lapwings. (David Anderson/Andrew Godden).

Cobney Meadows     On the WeBS count this morning birds included 14 Shelducks on floodwater and 90 Canada Geese flew out of Coombe Hill early on. (Mike Smart/Eric Palmer).

Ashleworth & Hasfield Hams    On the WeBS count this morning birds included eight Mute Swans, 248 Greylags, 172 Canada Geese, 580 Wigeon, 700 Teal, 13 Gadwalls, 58 Mallards, 25 Pintail, 23 Shovelers, a Tufted Duck, a Cormorant, 412 Lapwings, two Redshanks, ten Snipe and a Red Kite. Guscar Rocks    On the WeBS count this morning birds included two Egyptian Goose, seven Shelducks, 106 Wigeon, seven Teal, 60 Lapwing, eight Knot, 70+ Curlews, six Redshanks and 11 Common Gulls. (Mike Smart/Barrie Mills).
