Forest of Dean At 12:15pm at New Grounds, Lydney Harbour there was a Great White Egret, standing in full view in a field at about 500 metres from the sea wall. Also a Peregrine on the sea wall and 130 Fieldfares. (Roger Ruston).

Cherington Around Cherington Lake ST 898985 birds included three Little Grebes, two Goldcrests, seven Long-tailed Tits, two Coal Tits, a Grey Wagtail, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Grey Heron and a Buzzard. (John Fletcher).
Severn Hams Due to flooding the Wainlodes and Tirley-Ashleworth minor roads are still impassable; while levels of floodwater have dropped on the meadows, both Coombe Hill and Ashleworth are practically unbirdable. At Coombe Hill from the towpath two Mute Swans, 20+ Wigeon, 50+ Teal, 43+ Pintails, two Shovelers and 20 Coots. At the edge of the flood on the Hasfield side at SO 829251 three Mute Swans, 1200 Wigeon, 150 Teal and 20 Pintails. In the very rough field at the end of Stank Lane three Snipe and a Jack Snipe.
