Walmore Common     Four Whinchats and two Redstarts early evening. (Andy Jayne).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A juvenile/female Marsh Harrier in low flight around north meadow and scrape at midday. (Les Ditchburn).

Arlingham     This evening at 8pm an Avocet feeding on the mudflats just S of Arlingham/Newnham. (Ian Elphick).

Forest of Dean    At Crabtree Hill this morning flocks of Linnets and Goldfinches, a Pied Flycatcher preening, Swallow and House Martins perching in dead trees and a hunting Tawny Owl mobbed by a Redstart. (Colin Butters).

Kingswood     At Nind two Little owls early evening at ST758919 in the orchard along the entrance to Ley’s Farm from Nind Lane. (Vic Polley).

Cirencester     A Grasshopper Warbler reeling at 10:20pm at the Bathurst Estate on farmland W of Stratton today. (Ken Cservenka).

Stinchcombe Hill     A Crossbill over and 30+ Pied Wagtails this morning. (James Robinson). 

Halmore     A Red Kite seen perched on a dead tree at 6:30am. Two Red Kites and then a lone bird seen circling overhead in the same area later. Two Common Cranes in barley stubble at SO698028. (Chris Newton). Pic by Chris.

Winchcombe     27 Swifts wheeling and screaming overhead and 200 Rooks over.
Also at least two Coal Tits and four Long-tailed Tits in the garden today. (Gill Worthington).

Ashleworth Ham     This afternoon three Red Kites, three Buzzards, a Kestrel, five Reed Buntings, a male Bullfinch, two Whitethroats, two Song Thrushes, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, three Skylarks, 39 Mallards, a Greylag, three Grey Herons and 14 House Sparrows around Colways Farm.
