Forest of Dean At Crabtree Hill this morning flocks of Linnets and Goldfinches, a Pied Flycatcher preening, Swallow and House Martins perching in dead trees and a hunting Tawny Owl mobbed by a Redstart. (Colin Butters).

Ashleworth Ham This afternoon three Red Kites, three Buzzards, a Kestrel, five Reed Buntings, a male Bullfinch, two Whitethroats, two Song Thrushes, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, three Skylarks, 39 Mallards, a Greylag, three Grey Herons and 14 House Sparrows around Colways Farm.
