Saul Warth This morning four Grey Herons, five Little Egrets, 105+ Curlews, 34+ Black-tailed Godwits, a distant flock of 200+ Ringed Plovers and 20+ Dunlins, male and female Wheatear, male and female Stonechat, two Whinchats, two Yellow Wagtails, 19+ Meadow Pipits, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, three Swallows, a Chiffchaff singing, a Lesser Whitethroat, a Whitethroat and a Redstart. Also a pair of Coal Tits at Saul Lodge. (MK).

Nailsworth At Barton End this morning birds included a Whimbrel, two Yellow Wagtails, three Tree Pipits, seven Siskins, four Meadow Pipits, a Grey Wagtail, four Swifts, 56 House Martins, four Sand Martins and 72 Swallows. Stanley Downton Around farm buildings near the water treatment works at 5:30pm nine Swallows, five House Martins, a pale Buzzard, a pair of of adult Peregrines play fighting, then disappeared S towards Frocester, a female Sparrowhawk and a Green Woodpecker.
