Awre A LAPLAND BUNTING flew ESE over Awre and the Severn towards Slimbridge at 8:40am. Also this morning six Reed Buntings, seven Siskins, two Lesser Redpolls, three Stonechats, a Wheatear, eight Chiffchaffs, 43 Meadow Pipits, 11 Skylarks, 18 Swallows, a Green Sandpiper, a Common Sandpiper, 36 Curlews and 29 Lapwings. Stinchcombe Hill A RICHARD’S PIPIT flew over this morning, calling loudly and heading S with a steady movement of Meadow Pipits. Also 60 Pied Wagtails and Siskins, Lesser Redpoll and Linnet on the move too. A HAWFINCH flew over N this evening. (James Robinson).
Cleeve Hill Three RING OUZELS E of Washpool valley this morning, also a Whinchat, a Raven, at least 17 Meadow Pipits, seven Skylarks, a few Chiffchaffs, Song Thrush and lots of Goldfinches and the odd Linnet. (Roberta Goodall).
