Awre     A LAPLAND BUNTING flew ESE over Awre and the Severn towards Slimbridge at 8:40am. Also this morning six Reed Buntings, seven Siskins, two Lesser Redpolls, three Stonechats, a Wheatear, eight Chiffchaffs, 43 Meadow Pipits, 11 Skylarks, 18 Swallows, a Green Sandpiper, a Common Sandpiper, 36 Curlews and 29 Lapwings. Stinchcombe Hill     A RICHARD’S PIPIT flew over this morning, calling loudly and heading S with a steady movement of Meadow Pipits. Also 60 Pied Wagtails and Siskins, Lesser Redpoll and Linnet on the move too. A HAWFINCH flew over N this evening. (James Robinson).

Cleeve Hill     Three RING OUZELS E of Washpool valley this morning, also a Whinchat, a Raven, at least 17 Meadow Pipits, seven Skylarks, a few Chiffchaffs, Song Thrush and lots of Goldfinches and the odd Linnet. (Roberta Goodall).

WWT Slimbridge     A MERLIN flew low and fast over the Goose House Ground mid morning. (Keith Davies). From Zeiss hide birds included eight Ruff, a Dunlin, 585 Teal, 130 Barnacle Geese and 72 Wigeon. (Magnus Carter).

Saul Warth     This morning five Ruff, four Ringed Plovers, three Avocets, two Bar-tailed Godwits, 50+ Curlews, nine Little Egrets and a Whinchat. (Gordon Hodgson).

Frampton     5+ Stonechats, a Snipe and 31 Lapwings over at Splatt Bridge this morning. (Gordon Hodgson).

Netheridge Farm     A Whinchat at the Barn Owl Centre this morning. (Mark Hobson).

Selsley Common     Early morning 70+ Meadow Pipits, 35+ Skylarks, a pair of Stonechats, a Green Woodpecker, two Chiffchaffs and a Nuthatch. (MK).

Prestbury     A Crossbill at 11:19am flew S calling over Prestbury. (Ken Heron).

Nailsworth     At least 16 Stonechats in the Chavenage Lane area. Also a Red Kite. (Terry Grant). In the Chavenage Lane/Calcot Manor this evening a Whinchat, six Stonechats, 300 Meadow Pipits, 30 Swallows, 40 Linnets, 25 Goldfinches and 30 Skylarks. (Peter Chappell).

Cashes Green     c100 Meadow Pipit feeding in a field recently spread with muck above Cashes Green adjacent to Standish Wood. (Dot Jones).

Cheltenham     The male Mandarin still with a group of Mallards on the lake at the university gardens at The Park. (Duncan Dine).

Ashleworth Ham     This morning birds ringed included three Reed Buntings, two Chiffchaffs, a Blackcap and a Meadow Pipit. Also a Peregrine on the pylons, a Golden Plover flew over, a Tawny Owl early on. (Mervyn Greening/Mike Smart).
