Gloucester The male BLACK REDSTART still at Gloucester Cathedral today. At Port Ham a Kingfisher, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Buzzard and a Jay. (Sara Baldwin).

At Alney Island this morning 1+ calling Water Rail from Port Ham Pool and a male Cetti’s Warbler singing. Also in the general area a Buzzard and two Grey Herons. (Gordon Avery).
Cotswold Water Park East Birds today included two male Goldeneyes, five Goosanders (3m, 2f), 40 Wigeon, ten Greylags, two pairs of Great Crested Grebes, a Green Woodpecker and 50 Goldfinches on Pit 126. A Great Spotted Woodpecker and c20 Cormorants on Pit 111 and three Grey Herons in the area. (Bruce Kettle).
Bromsberrow Heath An adult Goshawk flushed from Grovehouse Coppice, as well as nine buzzards presumably feeding on worms on the ground in arable and a Red Kite overhead near Bromsberrow Heath. (Richard Lansdown).
Ketford A female Stonechat in scrub on the edge of rough grassland at Berrow’s Farm. (Richard Lansdown).
Kingswood Garden birds today included a Dipper, a Grey Wagtail, 15 Goldfinches, three Lesser Redpolls, three Moorhens, three Little Egrets flew over and a Buzzard. (Thomas McCarthy).
Cheltenham From Oakley to Arle Grove via Northfield Farm and return birds included two Red Kites, two Buzzards, a male Kestrel, four Meadow Pipits and a Marsh Tit. In Arle Grove a Coal Tit, 20 Fieldfares, a Treecreeper, a Goldfinch and four Chaffinches today. (Howard Smith).
Cambridge Birds included a Water Rail, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Goldcrest, four Greenfinches, a Kingfisher, a female Blackcap and a Buzzard. Also a male Blackcap in the garden again. (Dave Abrams & Hannah Willoughby).
Coombe Hill Meadows A Canada Goose, 850 Wigeon, 400 Teal, 30 Mallards, 220 Pintails, 80 Shovelers, 25 Tufted Ducks, two Pochards, 20 Coots, 20 Lapwings, ten Fieldfares, a Bullfinch and two Reed Buntings today. (Mike Smart).
Ashleworth Ham 180 Wigeon, 120 Teal, ten Mallards,15 Pintails and five Shovelers today. Also five Mute Swans and 95 Greylags grazing below Colway’s Farm. (Mike Smart).
Robinswood Hill This afternoon birds included two Green Woodpeckers, two Jays, four Song Thrushes, seven Long-tailed Tits, a Mistle Thrush heard, a Goldcrest, 15+ Blackbirds and three Buzzards. (John Fletcher).
Stonehouse From Pike Bridge to the Ocean a Little Grebe and a Kingfisher. At the Sewage Works a Chiffchaff, Long-tailed Tits, Pied Wagtails, four Grey Herons, a Little Egret on the River Frome and two Buzzards. (Bob Hindle).
