On Pit 85a a GREAT WHITE EGRET, a Snipe, a Little Grebe, c12 Tufted Ducks, four Gadwalls, several Coots and Mallards. Also a Kestrel, small groups of Redwings and Fieldfare in the hedges and six Long-tailed Tits. (Bruce Kettle).

Lower Rea A pair of Ravens, 12 Goldfinches, seven roosting Cormorants, 30 Dunlins high S over Riversmead Farm at 1pm and five Teal (2m, 3f). 100+ Pintails, seven Mute Swans and a Bar-headed Goose this morning on Corn Ham, Minsterworth viewed from the benches at Lower Rea across the river at SO 80412 15648.
