Chavenage Lane     A pair of Peregrines hunting. The male took a kill, probably Fieldfare, onto overhead wires where it balanced in the wind to eat it. Also a female MERLIN, 250+ Redwings and 250+ Fieldfares. (Terry Grant).

South Cerney     c20 Golden Plovers opposite South Cerney camp with a flock of Lapwings today. (Gill & Chris Snook).

Cotswold Water Park West    At Shorncote this afternoon 16 Little Egrets and 100+ Lapwings. On Pit 85a a GREAT WHITE EGRET, a Snipe, a Little Grebe, c12 Tufted Ducks, four Gadwalls, several Coots and Mallards. Also a Kestrel, small groups of Redwings and Fieldfare in the hedges and six Long-tailed Tits. (Bruce Kettle).

Frampton to Slimbridge    From Splatt Bridge to Slimbridge along the canal two Kingfishers, 100+ Lapwings and Dunlins, three Golden Plovers, two Common Cranes, 50+ Curlews and a MARSH HARRIER hunting over the 100-Acre. (Martin Price).

Lower Rea     A pair of Ravens, 12 Goldfinches, seven roosting Cormorants, 30 Dunlins high S over Riversmead Farm at 1pm and five Teal (2m, 3f). 100+ Pintails, seven Mute Swans and a Bar-headed Goose this morning on Corn Ham, Minsterworth viewed from the benches at Lower Rea across the river at SO 80412 15648. Also today three Brown Hares and three Roe Deer (1m, 2f). (MK).

Dursley     A Raven strutting around the centre of the town opposite Sainsbury’s this morning. (Roy Bircher).

Edge     This afternoon around S0847089 12 Redwings, two Chaffinches, two Ravens heard, 17 Jackdaws and a Buzzard. (John Fletcher).
