Frampton    From Splatt Bridge this morning a MARSH HARRIER, a Peregrine, a MERLIN, two single White-fronted Geese flew N 10 minutes apart, 16 Golden Plovers flew N, nine Snipe in the reed bed, and one flew high N, 55 Lapwings in the Snipe field and three Little Grebes on the canal. Cherington    A Barn Owl seen flying low along hedgerows and buildings today at Lowesmoor Farm, near Cherington at 3:30pm. (Jude Smith).

Nailsworth     A male MERLIN sat preening on a wall, seen from the lay-by on the A46 just past Barton End. (Terry Grant). A Blackcap singing well along Northfield Road today. (Roy Bircher).

Forest of Dean     Two LESSER SPOTTED WOODPECKERS drumming within the same woodland near Littledean. (Dan Watson). A Red Kite at midday today drifting NE over Clanna Woods. Also a Buzzard over the garden. (Paul Woolams).

Lower Rea/Netheridge     Eight roosting Cormorants including two sinensis-type, 27+ Teal with many males displaying, a drake Shoveler, a pair of Gadwalls and three Snipe today. (MK).

Cotswold Water Park East   On Pit 114 this afternoon, 40 Canada Geese, 40 Greylags, 50 Wigeon, 50 Teal, five Goldeneyes, four Gadwalls, 20 Mallards, five Snipe, two Oystercatchers, a Grey Heron, six Cormorants, ten Redwings and Fieldfares and 50 Black-headed Gulls today. (Bruce Kettle).

Ampney Crucis     A male Yellowhammer and 12 Fieldfares today. (Liz & Colin Kilpatrick).
