Cotswold Water Park East    At Whelford Pool NR a Goldcrest singing. On the road from Whelford to Dudgrove at the ‘farm’ on the left with a large gate and lots of vehicles parked, a juvenile male BLACK REDSTART singing at 11am. On Pit 125 the drake RING-NECKED DUCK still at the far W end. At Pit 127 a BITTERN flew E at 11:37am. Also an Egyptian Goose, six Red Crested Pochards and a Lesser Redpoll. (Ken Heron).

Ashleworth Ham    64 Black-tailed Godwits came in to roost at 6pm. (Richard Humphrey). Ashleworth/Hasfield Hams WeBS count birds included a Mute Swan, 19 Greylags, five Canada Geese, nine Shelducks, 200 Wigeon, 500 Teal, two Gadwalls, 40 Mallards, ten Pintails, 30 Shovelers, two Tufted Ducks, a Grey Heron, ten Coots, two Moorhens, 12 Snipe, six Lapwings, two Curlews, five Skylarks, four Chiffchaffs, 51 Carrion Crows and a Reed Bunting. Frampton    From Splatt Bridge this morning, a Red Kite N at 8:35am, an adult MEDITERRANEAN GULL, two Black-tailed Godwits, a Bar-tailed Godwit, an Oystercatcher, 62 Curlews and 14 Redshanks. (Gordon Hodgson).

Cambridge    Two Meadow Pipits just off Woolaston Lane today, many Greylags in the fields just N of the canal by Patch Bridge, a Curlew and a Greenfinch. (Dave Abrams & Hannah Willoughby).

Ebley    Around Doverow Hill tonight a Tawny Owl, a Treecreeper, four Great Spotted Woodpeckers, two calling Green Woodpeckers and a male Kestrel. (Paul Sutton).

Rodley     On Wilmore Common 68 Shelducks, 200+ Wigeon, c15 Mallards, three Little Egrets, two Grey Herons and a Lesser Black-backed Gull. (Neil Tappin).

Haw Bridge East     Two Curlews, 50+ Woodpigeons, 50 Fieldfares and 50 Redwings, a Chiffchaff, a Raven and two Reed Buntings. (Mike Smart).

Maisemore Ham     Nine Shelducks, ten Mallards, three Teal, four Tufted Ducks, a Cormorant and two Oystercatchers. (Mike Smart).

Aylburton     A Red Kite over the High Street at 4:30pm today. (Martin Vaisey).

Apperley – Coombe Hill Canal     South of James Wood three Chiffchaffs singing, a Fieldfare and two Redwings. (Richard Lansdown).

Coombe Hill Canal     In scrub along the canal a Chiffchaff singing, 30 Fieldfares and 20 Redwings. (Richard Lansdown).

The Leigh     60+ Pied Wagtails feeding in a field treated with manure. (Richard Lansdown).

Boddington     15 Fieldfares and six Redwings flying N. (Richard Lansdown).
