On the road from Whelford to Dudgrove at the ‘farm’ on the left with a large gate and lots of vehicles parked, a juvenile male BLACK REDSTART singing at 11am. On Pit 125 the drake RING-NECKED DUCK still at the far W end. At Pit 127 a BITTERN flew E at 11:37am. Also an Egyptian Goose, six Red Crested Pochards and a Lesser Redpoll. (Ken Heron).

Ashleworth Ham 64 Black-tailed Godwits came in to roost at 6pm. (Richard Humphrey). Ashleworth/Hasfield Hams WeBS count birds included a Mute Swan, 19 Greylags, five Canada Geese, nine Shelducks, 200 Wigeon, 500 Teal, two Gadwalls, 40 Mallards, ten Pintails, 30 Shovelers, two Tufted Ducks, a Grey Heron, ten Coots, two Moorhens, 12 Snipe, six Lapwings, two Curlews, five Skylarks, four Chiffchaffs, 51 Carrion Crows and a Reed Bunting.
