WWT Slimbridge     A drake GARGANEY on the Rushy at 10:30am but not later. Two Grasshopper Warblers still at Mid Point. (Slimbridge Sightings). Late news for yesterday of a Spotted Flycatcher from the Decoy boardwalk. (Jill Orme).

Frampton     A Tawny Owl low in small tree on the path between Court Lake and the Perry Way, also two Yellow Wagtails, at least five Hobbies hawking over Court Lake, a Cetti’s Warbler heard, a Sedge Warbler, a Whitethroat and a Goldcrest. (Greg Anderson/Paul Rich/Martin Price). This evening an adult LITTLE GULL on Court Lake and 12 Common Terns on the Sailing Lake and 200+ Swifts. (Nick Goatman).

Cotswold Water Park West    12 Hobbies over Lower Mill Pits 41/57/58 mid afternoon also 3+ Hobbies over Swillbrook Pits 46/48. (Jon Mercer).

Leckhampton Hill     A Raven, three Yellowhammers, three Stock Dove and a Whitethroat early morning. (Eric Harris).

Coombe Hill Meadows     30 Mute Swans, four Teal, 20 Mallards, a pair of Gadwalls, a pair of Wigeon, two Greylags, a pair of Canada Geese with six goslings, a GREAT WHITE EGRET, a Grey Heron, a Curlew, a Little Ringed Plover, two Avocets, eight Lapwings, two Redshanks, two Oystercatchers, a Redstart, Whitethroats, a Lesser Whitethroat, Sedge Warblers, a Blackcap, 2-3 Skylarks, several Swifts, 50+ Swallows, 10+ House Martins and 5+ Sand Martins, a pair of Yellow Wagtails, a Pied Wagtail, a Linnet and two Reed Buntings. Cotswold Water Park West    This evening at the South Cerney playing fields allotments four Swifts circling overhead, a Cuckoo calling from the direction of Shorncote, a Green Woodpecker and a Buzzard overhead being mobbed by two Crows. (Bruce Kettle).
