Tredington     Belated news of an adult ROSE-COLOURED STARLING in a private garden at 6am yesterday. (per Richard Baatsen).

WWT Slimbridge     A drake GARGANEY on the pool to the right of Zeiss hide at midday. (Les Ditchburn).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A QUAIL heard and seen in flight this afternoon. (Les Ditchburn).

Lower Apperley     Three pairs of Lapwings, two Curlews, a male Yellow Wagtail, c5 Linnets and a Yellowhammer. (Mike Smart).

Forest of Dean     At Nagshead today a pair of Pied Flycatchers, a pair of Redstarts, three Garden Warblers, a Chiffchaff and Nuthatches. (Nigel Gardener).

Hookshouse, Doughton     A Little Owl at 8:30pm near Hookshouse Pottery at ST860920. (Vic Polley).

Tuffley     A Red Kite N at 8:30am and a Peregrine over W at 8:48am. (Mark Hobson).

Frampton pools     A Hobby, an Oystercatcher, a Common Tern and a Snow x Bar-headed Goose hybrid on Court Lake and five Common Terns on the Sailing Lake. 75+ Mute Swans over both lakes including two small cygnets. (MK).

Uley Bury     A Red Kite over at 9:20am. (Piers Suckling).

Wanswell     A Red Kite circling low over farmland opposite Oldlands cricket club at 1:10pm. (Clare Glanville).

Clapton-on-the-Hill     A female Marsh Harrier and four Curlews today. (Keith Jennings).

Gloucester     A Red Kite quartering a field beside the A40 Northern bypass, just N of Elmbridge Court Roundabout at 10:25am. (Steven Parker). A Kestrel calling and flying low over The Clock Tower park, Abbeydale and over gardens in Bullfinch today. (Lorraine Besent).

Cherington     Around the lake mid afternoon two pairs of Grey Wagtails, three Moorhens, two Coots, a Grey Heron, two Mute Swans, a Green Woodpecker, a male Greenfinch, three Blackcaps and two Chiffchaffs. (John Fletcher).

Hucclecote     This morning a female Green Woodpecker in the garden, the second one this year. Three Goldfinches in a neighbouring garden and a male Sparrowhawk took a House Sparrow. (Harold Smith).
