Coombe Hill Meadows This morning two Spotted Redshanks, a Green Sandpiper, two Whinchats, two Wheatears, a Great White Egret, five Little Egrets, five Grey Herons and four Buzzards. (Ian Hull).
Frampton pools A Swift over the Sailing Lake at 10:40am with 100+ Sand Martins, and a male Goshawk nearby. Another three Swifts over the woods at the rear of Court Lake at 11:10am and a Hobby hunting dragonflies. A little later another Goshawk seen briefly over The Perryway. (Terry Grant). Leonard Stanley No sign of the albino Swallow this morning but a Hobby hunting over the church. Also 6+ Swallows, two House Martins, a Buzzard on prey and 17 Goldfinches. (MK).
Elmstone Hardwicke At 1:30pm 20+ Swallows perched on a telephone wire with at least a dozen more in the air. (David Norman).
