Coombe Hill Meadows     An adult female Marsh Harrier hunting over the reserve this morning. Also a Greenshank, five Snipe and a Great White Egret. (Ian Hull). Also a Little Egret, a Green Woodpecker, three Grey Herons, a Kingfisher and a Blackcap. (Jeremy Holland).

WWT Slimbridge     At Middle Point a Little Stint, seven Grey Plovers and four Little Egrets. (Roberta Goodall/Mike Davis). A Great White Egret from Van de Bovenkamp hide and the SPOONBILL feeding on the river. An adult Mediterranean Gull on South Lake and six male Pochards on the deep lake. A Greenshank and an Avocet on the Rushy. Nine Greenshanks and two Spotted Redshanks on the Top New Piece. (Roberta Goodall).

Saul Warth     At high tide a Curlew, a Ringed Plover, 60 Dunlins, 43 Lapwing flew S, eight Little Egrets, 40+ Goldfinches, 20+ Linnets, 54 Meadow Pipits, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, four Skylarks, five Swallows, a Chiffchaff, male and female Stonechat, a Grey Wagtail, three Ravens and four Jays. Frampton     On Court Lake two Hobbies, six Siskins, two Curlews, a Kingfisher, 26 Gadwalls, four Teal, two Wigeon, four Tufted Ducks, three Great Crested Grebes, 64 Mute Swans and a Cetti’s Warbler today. (Nick Goatman).

Newnham-on-Severn     A Red Kite over Newnham and three Stonechats along the fence on Arlingham bank of the Severn. (Lewis Thomson).

Awre     Five Wheatears, two Stonechats, four Reed Buntings, a Grey Wagtail, a Chiffchaff, 50 Dunlins, eight Ringed Plovers, 35 Curlews, two Snipe and a Little Egret this morning. (Lewis Thomson).

Nailsworth     11 Jays, eight of them flew S very high up just after midday. Also 24 House Martins flew S and a second young Grass Snake in the garden. (Terry Grant).
