Guscar/Aylburton     WeBS count today 40 Canada Geese, 70 Wigeon and 300 Teal (mostly in Cone Pill), five Mallards, seven Grey Herons, a Cormorant, 24 Lapwings, a Golden Plover, 400 Curlews, 22 Redshanks, a Green Sandpiper, 500 Black-headed Gulls, 25 Herring Gulls and five Lesser Black-backed Gulls. Also two Stonechats and two Chiffchaffs, one singing. Rodley     85 Lapwings, nine Snipe, 22 Curlews, three Little Egrets, three Grey Herons, 30 Linnets, two Stonechats and 100 Starlings today. (David Smith).

Witcombe Reservoirs     23 Greylags, two Mute Swans, a male Shoveler, 60 Mallards, nine Tufted Ducks, three Little Grebes, two Great Crested Grebes, a Grey Heron, six Cormorants, 10+ Moorhens, 39 Coots, 160 Black-headed Gulls, two Common Gulls, a Herring Gull and a Buzzard. (Gordon Avery).

Shab Hill     380 Golden Plovers, then flew off at 12:10pm, 20+ Skylarks and 20+ Yellowhammers. (Gordon Avery). A Red Kite over the A417 at Barrow Wake at noon. (MK).

Culkerton     35 Golden Plovers circling over plough near New Barn at 3pm. (MK).

Cotswold Water Park West     At Shorncote Reedbed this afternoon three Grey Herons, a Little Egret, 15 Wigeon, a pair of Shovelers, five Gadwalls, 45 Lapwings, a Red Kite, two Buzzards, a Kestrel, five Cormorants, a Stonechat, two Reed Buntings and a Cetti’s Warbler. (MK).

WWT Slimbridge     The SPOONBILL on the Top New Piece, three Russian White-fronted Geese from Kingfisher hide. At Middle Point a Great White Egret and five Little Egret. The BITTERN again from Van Der Bovenkamp hide. Two Cattle Egrets on South Lake. Four Spotted Redshanks and three Greenshanks from Zeiss hide. (Jonathan Bull).
