Forest of Dean A probable Great Grey Shrike flying over barren land to the SE of Crabtree Hill but lost from view at Great Kensley Inclosure at 8am. (Angela Carswell). At Cannop Upper Pond this afternoon, a Marsh Tit at the bird table, c20 Siskins, two Ravens and five Wigeon still. (Chris Keeling).
Coombe Hill Meadows At midday Redwings and Fieldfares together with two Shelducks all flushed by a low flying ringtail HEN HARRIER that passed across the scrapes and over the canal by the dead trees. Also a Peregrine, a Sparrowhawk and three Grey Herons. (Jeremy Holland).
