Cleeve Hill     This morning a Red Kite, a Peregrine, two Golden Plovers and large flocks of Redwings and smaller number of Fieldfares. (Paul Rich/Les Ditchburn).

WWT Slimbridge     The putative Todd’s Canada Goose at back of Tack Piece with 597 Canada Geese again, also three Greenland White-fronted Geese, two Russian White-fronted Geese and two Spotted Redshanks. A Merlin causing panic and flushing everything. A Little Stint from Zeiss hide. The Ross’s Goose still and two Peregrines. (Dot Jones/Ian Hull/Tim Jukes/Jonathan Bull).

Alvington     A female Brambling feeders in the garden at Clanna Country Park this morning. (Paul Woolams).

Coombe Hill Meadows     This morning from the Grundon hide 73 Wigeon, 17 Shovelers, a Teal, three Grey Herons, a Cetti’s Warbler singing, two Water Rails calling and two late SWALLOWS. Along the canal c40 Redwings, c20 Fieldfares, a Snipe, a Siskin, c4 Greenfinches, two Bullfinches, six Skylarks, two Meadow Pipits, two Pied Wagtails, a Jay and two Goldcrests. Cheltenham     A Red Kite circling over GCHQ at 11:10am. (Andy Jayne).

Sapperton    A Marsh Tit beside the canal today. (Morag Hughes).

Chavenage Lane     5000+ Wood Pigeons again in a huge flock, feeding in Linseed fields and in the adjoining wood, and a prolonged fight between two male Pheasants. (Terry Grant).
