Cleeve Hill     The SNOW BUNTING still at the Dew Pond at SO 99651 24895 up until lunchtime at least. Also large number of Redwings and at least one Fieldfare. (Steve Emerson).

Sharpness     The male BLACK REDSTART showed well between 12:50 and 1:10pm on the Ned West building at the end of Dock Road. (Andy & Sue Gibbons).

Cheltenham     A Red Kite, a male Kingfisher and Redwings in Pittville Park today. (Steve Emerson).

Frampton pools     At Court Lake early afternoon the Tawny Owl showing well in its roost tree, two Little Egrets, three Curlews flew over NE, 13 Fieldfares, five Redwings, 30+ Pied Wagtails, a Raven and two Cetti’s Warblers, a Siskin and a Nuthatch heard only. Also a Peregrine on a pylon two fields N of Court Lake near Fromebridge. (MK).

Stroud     A Red Kite over Churchfield Road at 11am heading towards Lypiatt. (Ken & Eve Holbrow).

Chavenage Lane area     3+Red Kites, a male Peregrine, a female Goshawk, 11 Buzzards, a female Sparrowhawk, a male Kestrel, 80+ Fieldfares, 102 Golden Plovers and a pair of Stonechats, the female was ringed. (Terry Grant).

Kingswood     At Nind Farm 11+ Siskins with Goldfinches feeding on Elders at GWT’s Nind Reserve this afternoon. (Vic Polley).

WWT Slimbridge     Birds today included 400 Golden Plovers, 350 Lapwings, 70 Dunlins, 60 Shelducks, 13 White-fronted Geese, 55 Barnacle Geese, 100+ Teal, 270 Wigeon, 50 Shovelers, 35 Pochards, 55 Pintails, 190 Tufted Ducks, 31 Bewick’s Swans, a Grey Heron, a Great White Egret, a Little Egret, two Common Cranes, a Great Spotted Woodpecker and a Buzzard. (Iain Crawford). A Goshawk from Kingfisher hide. (Roy Kinchin). An unringed Common Crane on site today. (Jonathan Bull). A Brambling with the Chaffinch flock in the Rook wood next to Zeiss hide. Stonehouse    This afternoon a Kingfisher at St Cyr’s Church/Boakes Drive along the canal. A Little Egret circled the drained Ocean then dropped to the River Frome. Three Redwings around the Church and a second Kingfisher on the canal at Ryeford. (Paul Sutton).
