Forest of Dean     At Parkend 4+ Hawfinches with Greenfinches in trees at Crown Lane late morning. At the church early afternoon a Jay and a Nuthatch. At Cannop Stoneworks c15 Mandarins, male and female Bullfinch, 3-4 Coal Tits, a Marsh Tit, 1+ Nuthatch and a Grey Wagtail. On Cannop N pond four Wigeon (3m). WWT Slimbridge     This afternoon a Snipe from Zeiss hide and a Marsh Harrier flew past the Van de Bovenkamp hide. (Bob Shiret).

Bentham     This morning birds included 20+ Linnets, four Bullfinches, two Mistle Thrushes, a Song Thrush, a Green Woodpecker, five Redwings, five Long-tailed Tits, a Goldfinch and two Mallards. (John Casswell).

Cam Green     A singing Mistle Thrush at 8:30am on top of a conifer in the garden. (Brian Kings).

Gloucester     At 11am today three male Blackcaps at Lansdown Road. (Laurence Lucas).
