WWT Slimbridge     A GLOSSY IBIS dropped in briefly to the Tack Piece from Martin Smith hide then flew inland at 1:30pm, seen by a visitor. Late afternoon it flew in and dropped onto one of the Top New Piece islands and looked like it might roost. (Martin McGill).

Wotton-Under-Edge     10+ Bramblings with Chaffinches around the entrance to Newark Park. Also c500 Linnets in nearby fields and trees. (Dave Emery).

Stonehouse     Late afternoon two Kingfishers on the canal, one at St Cyr’s Church and another at Ryeford bridge. (Paul Sutton).

Highnam Woods     This afternoon until twilight birds included two Marsh Tits, two Treecreepers, two Goldcrests, three Pied Wagtails, four Chaffinches, a Coal Tit, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, two Jays, a Buzzard and a male Sparrowhawk, (John Fletcher).

Tewkesbury     At Cowfield Farm a Water Rail swimming and four Snipe this afternoon. (Les Ditchburn).
