Tidenham, Pill House     Two WATER PIPITS in the pill near Pill House Rocks early afternoon. Access along a public footpath that runs from the A48 at Tidenham towards Pill House, under the railway and through some horse paddocks. (Andy Jayne).

WWT Slimbridge    Two Snipe at Martin Smith hide, 12 Ruff on the Tack Piece, ten Cattle Egrets roosting at Long Ground pool, a Kingfisher by the North American pen, two Cetti’s Warblers, 1 at Zeiss hide and 1 near the Otter enclosure, at Zeiss hide a Reed Bunting heard and a showy Water Rail. Cotswold Water Park West     On Pits 43/65 the immature male and an adult female SCAUP, 10+ Goldeneyes, 10+ Goosanders, two Egyptian Geese, a Green Woodpecker seen and 2-3 heard, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers calling, three pairs of Bullfinches and two Cetti’s Warblers singing. On Pit 44 20+ Red Crested Pochards. (Steve Brown). The adult male SCAUP on Pit 65 late afternoon. (Ian Hull).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Two Great Black-backed Gulls, a Cetti’s Warbler, a Chiffchaff, a Sparrowhawk on the towpath and a Little Owl calling from North meadow at dusk. (Les Ditchburn).

Ashleworth Ham     This afternoon birds included three Mute Swans, 147 Greylags, 250+ Canada Geese, eight Pintails, 60+ Teal, 75+ Wigeon, six Shovelers, four Gadwalls, a male Pochard, three Tufted Ducks (2m, 1f), two Grey Herons, 709 Lapwings, eight Snipe, a Peregrine, a Buzzard, five Chaffinches, 29 Starlings and two Long-tailed Tits. Bishops Cleeve     A flock of 150+ Redwings on the Coffin Trail field between Bishops Cleeve and Gotherington this afternoon. (Yvonne Baxter/Liz Pickering).

Leckhampton Hill     Two Skylarks singing this morning close to the car park. (Martin Vaisey).

Hartpury     A murmuration of c4000 Starlings at Hartpury Orchard Centre again tonight before roosting in the reed beds. (Steve French).

Hawling     200+ very mobile Lapwings between Southdown Farm and the main road. (John Miles).

Brockworth     At least four Greenfinches (2m, 2f) in the garden. (John Miles).
