Cheltenham A pair of Peregrines on Christ Church tower from 11:40am until at least 1:40pm today. Also at least two Blackcaps singing in the trees along the Honeybourne Line from Malvern Road to Millennium Bridge. (John Bromley).

Longney At Crib sands and meadows late afternoon birds included 75 Lapwings, three Shelducks, 11 Mallards, three Cormorants, 150+ Black-headed Gulls, 50+ Lesser Black-backed Gulls, three Herring Gulls, six Common Gulls, two Ravens, a Song Thrush, a male Blackcap, a Green Woodpecker, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, ten Goldfinches and a Buzzard. Fretherne to Arlingham This morning along the Severn Way 70+ Curlews in three flocks, two Peregrines on a pylon, three Stonechats, 18 Lapwings, 14 Shelducks, a Goldcrest and a Little Egret. (Jon Dexter).
Daglingworth area A male Merlin on a ploughed field on the N side of Overley road then flew W. Also five Fallow Deer here. On the opposite side of the road at Daglingworth quarry, 16 Corn Buntings. Bramblings in tree tops amongst Chaffinches and Linnets around the Bathurst estate/Oakley wood. (Sam Walker).

WWT Slimbridge A Water Rail from Knott hide and a male Mandarin on the Rushy. (Martin Price). Ten Cattle Egrets flew out of the roost early, a male Goldeneye on South Lake, a Marsh Harrier from Zeiss hide, a Merlin on the estuary, a Kingfisher and a Water Rail from Kingfisher hide.
