Farmcote     This afternoon, a Buzzard in a field with a male Pheasant as prey, two more Buzzards nearby and six Red Kites overhead. (Andrew & Gill Worthington).

Taddington     A mixed flock of c100 finches wheeling over a field with seed heads. Also groups of 7, 7, and 4 Bramblings in trees. (Andrew & Gill Worthington).

Gloucester    A Peregrine circling the Cathedral tower at 3pm today. (Nikki Smith).

Cowley     A Red Kite over the A417 at Granny’s Pumps (the layby near Cowley Roundabout) at SO9579112145 at 9:45am. (Ian Elphick).

Longney     Late afternoon birds included two Cormorants, 21 Mallards, three Moorhens, 250 Starlings, two Green Woodpeckers, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, one drumming, four Fieldfares and five Chaffinches at SO 762 41176. (John Fletcher).
