Forest of Dean     At Woorgreens today ten Crossbills over, 20 Lesser Redpolls, many Siskins, several Stonechats, Chiffchaffs, Meadow Pipits and a Blackcap singing. Goshawks from New Fancy View at midday. (Rob Husbands). In the woods N of New Fancy today, two Goshawks over together and another harassed by three Buzzards, six Goldcrests, a female Crossbill, a Grey Wagtail, at least 20 Chiffchaffs, 40 Siskins, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Treecreeper and a pair of Greylags over. Also c15 Brimstones, three Commas, two Peacocks and a Red Admiral. (Chris Newton). A Treecreeper at Cannop Upper Pond, also nine Tufted Ducks and a Nuthatch calling. A Brimstone near Speech House. Purton    VisMig this morning included a female Marsh Harrier, 15 Magpies, a Grey Plover, a Brambling and two Lesser Redpoll this morning. Also eight Chiffchaffs. (Francis Steuck).

Cotswold Water Park West    A SCAUP still on Pit 65 and three Chiffchaffs, four Blackcaps and a male Brambling in the Lower Mill area. (Dave Creber).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Mid afternoon from Grundon hide three Little Ringed Plovers, 131 Black-tailed Godwits, six Little Egrets and two Oystercatchers. (John Fletcher). Also three Ruff, two Grey Herons, two Redshanks, a Buzzard, a Green Woodpecker and a singing Chiffchaff. (Jeremy Holland). Also a Curlew, a Goshawk and a Little Owl. (Paul Clark). In the evening nine Curlews, 15 Fieldfares over, two Chiffchaffs singing, c1000 Teal, c100 Wigeon, 40 Pintails and a Great White Egret. (Mike Smart).

Stonehouse     At Bridgend a Red Kite over the garden going SW at 9:30am. Seen again in the distance (from the garden) over Stanley Downton at 3:30pm. A pair of Buzzards circled over at 10:30am, and another later. Also a Brimstone butterfly in the garden. (Paul Sutton).
