Elmore     From Weir Green to the Groundless Pool this afternoon 11 Mallards, including an adult with six ducklings, three Greenfinches, two Blackcaps, seven Chiffchaffs, a Stock Dove, two Green Woodpeckers heard, two Moorhens, 11 Jackdaws, 13 Carrion Crows and 91 Lesser Black-backed Gulls. Kingswood     A Little Egret, a Grey Heron, two Kingfishers, two Grey Wagtails and two Dippers through the garden today. (Tom McCarthy).

Stroud     Along the canal path from Stroud to Stroud Brewery at least six Chiffchaffs calling, a Kingfisher and four Mandarins (3m, 1f)  just by the fallen oak across the canal. (Tom McCarthy).

Ashleworth Ham    Five Mute Swans, five Greylags, ten Canada Geese, a Wigeon, 30 Teal, two Shovelers, 15 Mallards, a Great White Egret, two Grey Herons, a Buzzard, two Red Kites, at least five Snipe, two Curlews roosting, a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming, a Tawny Owl, two Skylarks singing, at least ten Chiffchaffs singing, 63 Carrion Crows, a Treecreeper singing and three Reed Buntings.
