Tewkesbury From The Willows pub in Bishop’s Walk at least four Cuckoos including at least one female, also a Red Kite and three Kingfishers. (James Barradine).
Coombe Hill Meadows Three Cuckoos, a Kingfisher and three Reed Warblers this morning. (Ian Ralphs). Also 50 Greylags, ten Canada Geese and six goslings, a pair of Mute Swans with seven cygnets, four Redshanks, a pair of Oystercatchers and two chicks, four Avocets and three chicks, a Curlew, two Shelducks, a Tufted Duck, ten Lapwings and four chicks, four Little Ringed Plovers, a Yellow Wagtail, a Sedge Warbler, two Swifts, a Chiffchaff, a Whitethroat, four Little Egrets, a Great White Egret and a Grey Heron. Ashleworth Ham Constant Effort Site ringing caught 34 birds including two Redstarts, a Sedge Warbler, a Lesser Whitethroat, eight Whitethroats, two Blackcaps, seven Chiffchaffs and a Reed Bunting. Longney Crib This afternoon short three Whitethroats, five Sand Martins, two Shelducks, nine Mallards, a Green Woodpecker, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, 65 Lesser Black-backed Gulls and four Cormorants. (John Fletcher).
Westrip A Red Kite over Westrip at 2:12pm with four Buzzards and a Raven. Another Red Kite over at 3pm. (MK).
